The Base Design[]
Brother FZ-2[]
The Lemair Pacesetter sewing machine was built and marketed by Brother in America as the FZ-2 Pacesetter. In 1959 this model wouldn’t have been top-of-the-line, there are adverts online from 1950-1956, so the design was at least nine years old.
